Il volume contiene anche un confronto tra l'insegnamento del libro sulla creazione e Gen 1-3.Sans être à proprement parler un commentaire du livre grec deutérocanonique intitulé la Sagesse de Salomon, ce recueil d’articles aborde les principales questions posées par ce livre biblique. La première partie touche quelques problèmes d’introduction au livre. La deuxième, la plus développée, analyse les textes majeurs du livre, sans oublier ses derniers chapitres, souvent laissés pour compte. La troisième s’en tient à quatre thèmes fondamentaux présents dans l’ensemble du livre. La quatrième confronte avec Gn 1–3 l’enseignement du livre sur la création.
Without being a commentary in the strict sense on the deuterocanonical Greek book entitled The Wisdom of Salomon, this collection of articles discusses the main questions posed by this biblical book. The first part touches on some introductory problems about the book.The second, the most developed part, analyses the major texts in the book, not overlooking its last chapters, often not taken into account. The third is confined to four fundamental themes in the whole book. The fourth confronts the book’s teaching on creation with Gen 1–3.
Maurice Gilbert, jésuite belge, est professeur émérite de l’Institut Biblique Pontifical, où il a tenu, depuis 1975,la chaire d’exégèse des livres sapientiaux de l’Ancien Testament.
The Author, a Belgian Jesuit, is an emeritus professor at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, where, since 1975, he held the chair of exegesis of the wisdom books of the Old Testament.
