Joel and Amos in dialogue. Study of Massimiliano Scandroglio. The recent exegesis has focused on the Minor Prophets in the study of their compositional process as a collection of distinct and interconnected. In line with this perspective of work, the thesis intends to approach the similarities in language, expression, structure and theme among the books of Joel and Amos with particular attention to introductive and conclusive sections. The "dialogue" emerging from the comparison between these prophets allows to highlight the different attitude of Israel in relation to the preaching of each prophet.

Massimiliano Scandroglio, born in Legnano (Milan) in 1977, is a priest of the Archdiocese of Milan since 2002. He received his Bachelor of Sacred Theology in 2001 from the Theological Faculty of Northern Italy, his Licentiate in Biblical Studies in 2006 and his doctorate in 2010 at the Pontifical Biblical Institute (Rome). He currently teaches Introduction to the Old Testament and Exegesis of the Old Testament in the Seminary of Milan, based in Seveso (Monza) and Venegono Inferiore (Varese).
